Javelin - A long 2 m pole thrown like a spear
The javelin requires a lot of muscular body power using many muscles to throw spear as far as possible.
The run up can be divided into three parts.
The first one being the straight run up for 5-7 meters holding the javelin straight forward. After this, the athlete turns around sideways doing the 'grape vine' (one leg crossing the back one and switching back and forth for each go) until finally giving all power built up and throwing javelin,

Shot put - A heavy round ball pushed away from competitors shoulders
When putting the shot put, you hold it with your fingertips and place it on your neck beneath your ear.
The foot on the other side of where your shot put is being held should come forward to the rinc and your other foot should be where your shoulders are when leaning side/backways
By bending back a few times and building up energy, with a straight back twist from shoulder to put the ball

discus - A round frisbee thrown off the competitors finger tips
To throw a discus you hold it with your finger tips and keeping it close to your arm. Stand with your back facing the opposite direction and when ready turn quickly with buildt up power allowing the discus to roll out of your hand
hammer throw - A heavy ball attached with metal wire to a handle
The hammer throw begins with bent knees and arms straight forward, the hammer is lifted and spun with arms still straight. After several times of spinning, the competitor begins to spin relying on the force from the now spinning hammer. This goes on until the person has reached the end of the throwing area and now realises the hammer
